Claudia McLellan of Edmonton passed away on July 17, 2021 at age 88 years.
Claudia was born in Alix, Alberta to Ray and Marion Ramsay and had one younger brother, Alger.
She grew up on a farm and met her future husband, Glen, at school when she was 15. They were devoted to each other for life and married for almost 64 years. Claudia was mother to Lynn (Ron) and Rob; grandmother to Amanda (Dorian), Connor, Ray (Dylon), Cameron and Jason; aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, and a dear friend and trusted neighbor to many.
Claudia worked her entire adult life, mainly as a bookkeeper in the accounting department of several different companies. She gardened, sewed and had many hobbies and friends. Claudia and Glen traveled extensively, mostly in Canada and the USA; they spent 12 winters in Arizona after retirement. She was devoted to her family and loved to include them in her adventures. Claudia was a fun loving, independent woman who inspired many with her ‘never give up’ spirit.
A celebration of Claudia's life will be held on Saturday, July 31 at 11 a.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 — 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
