1940 –2020
On Saturday, November 21, 2020 Roseanne Jakubec of St. Albert passed away at the age of 80.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Rudy; children, Trent Jakubec (Melissa) and Camille Robertson (Peter; grandchildren: Dulcie, Rory, Josh and Sean; sister, Joanne (Joe) Grandish, as well as numerous relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed by her girlfriends, friends at the St. Albert Parish, and staff and residents at Chartwell St. Albert. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of Unit 18 at The Sturgeon Hospital for their support and care.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Russell and Emil Popel, and parents, Anna and John Popel.
Roseanne enjoyed bird watching, sewing, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She also always liked to keep the family organized and up to date.
A Private Service will be held at the family’s request.
