1945 - 2019
With heavy hearts the family of Henry (Hank) Reinbold is sad to announce his passing on August 15, 2019 after suffering a heart attack.
Hank will be deeply missed and loved always by his wife, Joanne; son, Dan (Wendy); daughter, Jill Simpson and granddaughters: Stella and Amelia Simpson and Wendy’s children: Liam and Tayler; sisters: Blond (Willie) Walz and Sophie Heck; sisters-in-law: Mary Lou (Don) Simpson, Fontella Reinbold, Dana Hergott, and Beryl Hergott. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nephews, nieces, friends and faithful hunting dog, Hunter.
Hank was the world’s greatest math teacher at St. Albert High School for over 30 years before semi-retiring in 2000. He worked for Alberta Education until finally retiring a few years later to a life of hunting, traveling and being Mr. “Fix-It”.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Doors opening at 2:00 p.m. and a formal portion will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at The Morinville Community Cultural Centre, 9502 100 Avenue, Morinville, Alberta.
For close friends and family, and those that can’t attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, a Memorial Service will be held at Connelly McKinley Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta at 7:00 p.m., Thursday August 22, 2019.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Hank’s name may be made to the University Hospital Foundation - Mazankowski Critical Care Unit.
