It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce that our beloved dad, Wayne Ferguson of St. Albert, AB, passed away on January 26, 2025, at age 82, following a long illness.
Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Dhana; sons, Shawn (Brenda) and Sheldon (Brigitte); grandchildren, Dylan and Noah; sister, Cathy (Allen) Toshack; brother, Scott (Janet) Ferguson; sisters-in-law, Flo (Doug) Britton, Bonnie Rorison, Sylvia Ferguson, and Linda Ferguson; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Beverley; brother, Jim Ferguson; and his parents, Harry and Evelyn Ferguson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, AB.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Wayne’s name to: Alzheimer Society of Alberta and NWT, Kidney Foundation of Canada, or Shepherd’s Care Foundation.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to all the staff at Shepherd’s Care Vanguard who helped care for our dad, your excellent care and support for Wayne and our family will always be gratefully remembered.
