It is with profound sadness that the family of James (Jim) Kenneth Fenton announces his passing on May 27 at the age of 79 years.
Jim will be remembered with everlasting love by his wife BettyAnn; his children Peter and Alicia Fenton, Tara and Bryan Connell; his cherished grandsons Jett Fenton, Brady Connell, and Wyatt Connell; his loyal grand dogs Palmer and Buster; brothers Alan, Bruce, Raymond (Marg); sister Muriel (Bud Powell); sister-in-law Jill (Peter Stanley) and brother-in-law John Blythe; and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Robert Fenton, his sisters-in-law Betty Fenton, Helen Fenton, and his parents-in-law Jennee and Bob Blythe. He will always be remembered as a kind and loyal family man and friend.
In accordance with Jim's wishes, no funeral will be held. He will be honored later on the occasion of his 80th birthday, with details to follow.
The family thanks Jim's family physician Dr. Rey-Parra, and Unit 43 Palliative Care at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
Memorial donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society or S.P.C.A. in recognition of Jim's love for all animals, or a charity of choice.
