The family of Alma Drouin is sad to announce her passing April 12, 2022. Born in Summerside, PEI on February 15, 1931, she was one of 12 children.
Alma was predeceased by her husband, Jean-Paul Drouin, and daughter, Darlene Innes, as well as many family members and friends.
Mourning her loss are her children Charlene Belsher (Gordon) of PEI, Paula Drouin, and Don Drouin (Crystal), and her grandchildren Douglas Innes, Rebecca Van (Tuan), Dalyce Austin (Jamie), Savannah Belsher-MacLean (Todd), Jenna Drouin, Tasha Innes, Lucas Specht (Brittany), Britany Drouin (Cody Despres), and Siobhan Belsher (Dylan Arsenault), as well as nine cherished great grandchildren.
She is survived by siblings Milford Clow (PEI), Elaine Heckbert (ON), Kay Szydlik (AB), and extended family across Canada.
Lovingly known as ‘Nan’ to many, she was a talented singer, the ‘life of the party’, and a warm-hearted generous woman who could turn a stranger into a friend in minutes.
To the staff of Youville Home, we are grateful for your attentive care of Mom, from her arrival in 2017 to her final days. Bless you all!!
