On July 19, 2022, Lila Deguire passed away peacefully at the age of 97.
Lila was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Alcide; one sister Marjorie, and one brother, Stanley.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Daniel (Val) and Rick (Sandra); her daughters, Yvette (Leo), Elaine (Ray) and Kathy (Mel); 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Gordon, and numerous relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of unit 7Y and 6C at the Edmonton General Hospital for their compassionate and kind care of Mom.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Albert Funeral Home Connelly-McKinley, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.
If desired, memorial donations may be made in Lila’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta.
