It is with great sorrow we announce the tragic passing of Joseph ‘Joey’ Robert Anderson on August 3, 2022, at the age of 31.
Joey was the first born child to Tracy and Karl Anderson on September 6th, 1990.
He attended Lorne Akins Jr High, Paul Kane High School, and Outreach High School for a brief period of time.
Joey was a lover of all things heavy metal, and an avid gamer. He could take apart any computer and put it back together again to work better. He was a fierce protector of his friends and family, especially his mom and sister. Joey struggled with mental health and addictions for half of his life and we will love and miss him forever.
He is survived by his grandparents, Sandra and Bob Murray, his mother, Tracy Anderson, his sister, Jasmine Anderson, niece Alayna, uncles; Scott (Karisa, Jaden), Shawn, (Tristan, Charlize),Troy, Aunt Audry and Uncle Trent (Robert, Garret).
Joey was predeceased by cousin, Jamie Wagner (2021), father, Karl Anderson (2020), great grandmother, Eileen Summersgill (2017), great grandfathers Macdonald Summersgill and Edwin Murray (2005, 2002), paternal grandmother, Colleen Anderson (2005), and uncle James Anderson (1999).
