1935 – 2022
Bev Abel passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the age of 87 years. She joins Ed Abel, her husband of 53 years and with whom she shared a lifetime of happiness and love, in eternity.
Bev will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter, Heather (Mike) MacBeath; son, Greg (Andrea) Abel; six grandchildren: Ryan (Dyanna), Lauren (Mat), Kirsten, Melissa (Maxim), Drew (Abby) and Beckett; nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.
Bev and Ed lived life to its fullest, finding time to travel, attending many sporting events and always enjoying quality time with family, especially their grandchildren. Bev continued this passion in the years following her loss of Ed. Bev’s pride was being a committed and loving mother and grandmother. Bev’s interest in each and every passion of her grandchildren was wonderful and brought many smiles to their faces.
A family celebration of life will be held to honour Bev, a great wife, mother and grandmother, at a later date.
A heartfelt thank you to the many who assisted Bev in enjoying a quality life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bev’s name to Cardiac Athletic Society of Edmonton (# 225 - 2903 Rabbit Hill Road NW, Edmonton, AB, T6R 3A3).
