Parking lot party

The Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission is hosting a public event in St. Albert to celebrate charities in the community and launch a new website.

The event will be hosted in the St. Albert Centre west parking lot, and will include food, drinks and entertainment. The new website, playapartab.ca is being launched to celebrate the success charitable gaming funds have had in building communities through the province.

The celebration will showcase 20 organizations that have benefited from charitable gambling funds, and will have booths set up throughout the parking lot.

Festivities run from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 24.
