Are you between the ages of 18 and 24 years and interested in St. Albert youth? Volunteer with this organization that offers barrier-free access to programs and activities focused on building assets and skills in youth and support networks for their families. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how a board works and gain valuable experience. Meetings are once per month on Wednesday evenings.

Get involved and help with this fun St. Albert event, Sunday, April 18. Assistance needed with route set up, route marshals, water and food stations and hospitality. Come out and enjoy the recently arrived spring air and lend a helping hand at the same time.

Share your musical talent at this fun event and provide musical accompaniment to runners along the 10-Mile Road Race route. Race takes place Sunday, April 18 in the morning.

Be a part of this family-oriented, community-supported event that makes a difference in the lives of Canadians living with MS. This one-day event to fundraise for multiple sclerosis is held at Millennium Park in St. Albert on April 25 and needs your help. Assist with set-up, clean-up, registration/check-in, checkpoints, food and beverages or finish line cheer squad. Volunteer as an individual, group or as a family.

In this volunteer role, you will support the marketing and communications area of this organization in the preparation of material for publication in print and e-newsletters, annual reports, brochures and the website. This opportunity allows a flexible schedule, the ability to complete assignments from home and the chance to build your portfolio of writing clips.

Do you enjoy working with children and youth? Then make a difference in a young person’s life and volunteer to be a soccer coach or co-coach. There are lots of age groups to choose from — coach four-year-olds where your main role is to coax and encourage the beginners in the game or other age groups, right through to the older teens. The outdoor season runs April through June. Coach courses and training are offered and available but not mandatory.

This local organization is committed to the support of seniors in our community and surrounding areas and is seeking two individuals from the community to assist with leadership and general promotion, as well as advising, governing and overseeing policy and direction. The organization is looking for one youth board member and one other board member. Assist with this board and provide your unique perspective and input.
