Help at this popular, family focused, kids’ triathlon with lots of multisport fun on Sunday, June 13 in St. Albert. Emphasis is on fun and safety, where volunteers work inside the pool counting lanes, outside directing traffic and in the transition area and water stations. Marshals help athletes find their way and boost the morale of the kids with cheering along the way.

Give to your community and be a part of this fun filled event that inspires patriotism and a sense of community pride for the young and young at heart. Canada Day Celebrations take place at various locations in St. Albert on Thursday, July 1. Assist with set-up and takedown, site activities, be a greeter at venues or help at the information tents. Shifts are available throughout the day and evening.

Can you play the piano or guitar and enjoy music? Share your talent with nursing home residents and help them to enjoy the gift of music. The sing-along takes place Tuesday afternoons for no longer than an hour. This short-term commitment will be until September.

Are you friendly, enthusiastic and have strong leadership skills? Join our summer camp staff and help to encourage interactive learning in a variety of science and computer camps designed specifically with fun in mind for youth six to 14 years of age. You will build on your experience in areas of science, technology, education, entertainment and tourism and will enhance your leadership, communication and public relation skills. This is a great opportunity for teen volunteers 15 years of age or older.

This 12-hour overnight event is coming to St. Albert for the first time on Saturday, June 12. Be a part of this fun and inspirational event as everyone comes together to fight against cancer. Day, evening or night shifts are available to do registration, survivor reception, children’s activities, entertainment, food services, luminary set-up, ceremony and many other areas.

Are you an efficient organizer with good computer skills, specifically with a spreadsheet program such as Excel? In this role, you will create a system for scheduling 75 ambassador volunteers throughout the duration of the games, input volunteers into the schedule and make adjustments as needed. Position is flexible for you to work at home or in the office. Having your own laptop would be an asset.

Are you friendly and do you enjoy people? Help this vibrant and contemporary arts organization by becoming a bingo volunteer for them on Wednesday, June 16. Must be 18 years of age or older.
