Twenty-nine St. Albertans have now recovered from COVID-19

On Thursday, Alberta Health Services' numbers showed there is still one person in the community who has COVID-19. The city has so far seen 30 cases of the virus.

Another person has recovered from COVID-19 in St. Albert, bringing the total number of people who have recovered in the city to 29.

In Sturgeon County, all 12 people who have been infected so far have now recovered.

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said there were 54 new diagnoses of COVID-19 overnight across the province, bringing the total number of Albertans confirmed to have contracted the virus to 6,017.

In all, 3,809 people have recovered from the illness, while two more Albertans have died as a result of COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 114.
