A bank in Legal is in shambles after three suspects rammed into the building to steal an ATM.

On Monday morning at around 4 a.m., a white flat deck truck drove into the Servus Credit Union on 50 Ave.

Three unknown suspects loaded the ATM onto the back of the truck and fled eastbound on Highway 651. The RCMP say extensive damage was done to the building.

Morinville RCMP stated in a news release the investigation is ongoing and being assisted by RCMP Forensic Identification Services.

Cleanup crews were out Monday afternoon clearing away debris and examining the damage done.
