After more than a week with no new reported cases of COVID-19, Sturgeon County has one new confirmed infection.
On Monday, provincial figures showed a 13th case of someone contracting the the virus in the county. The 12 people who previously had COVID-19 were all recovered as of May 7.
In St. Albert, one person is still confirmd to have the virus. Twenty-eight people have recovered. The official count from Alberta Health Services for total COVID-19 cases so far in the city dropped by one last week from 30 to 29.
