The St. Albert RCMP are searching for the rightful owners of six bags of hockey equipment.

On Nov. 11, 2024, police say six bags of youth hockey equipment were found on Township Road 540A, and they have not been able to identify the rightful owners.

They ask that if your child's hockey bag and gear was lost or stolen to contact the St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700. They add you will be required to provide a description of the hockey bag and its contents to prove ownership.

"Found property which is turned over to the RCMP is held for 60 days, if unclaimed, the property is either given back to the individual who found it or relinquished and destroyed locally," a news release says.

St. Albert RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity. If you see a crime in progress, they ask you dial 911. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the "P3 Tips" app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
