St. Albert RCMP looking for owners of lost keys

Following the recovery of a stolen vehicle in St. Albert last month, local RCMP are looking for the rightful owners of “numerous” pairs of house and car keys that were found inside the vehicle.

Following the recovery of a stolen vehicle in St. Albert last month, local RCMP are looking for the rightful owners of “numerous” pairs of house and car keys that were found inside the vehicle.

“St. Albert RCMP recovered a stolen vehicle, which was reported stolen from Edmonton, weeks prior to it being found in St. Albert,” reads an Oct. 5 RCMP release. “Inside the vehicle, members located numerous pairs of house/car keys & key fobs.”

“St. Albert RCMP hope to find and return the keys to their rightful owner(s).”

The release also states that the stolen vehicle was seen in Sherwood Park and Parkland County prior to being recovered in St. Albert on Sept. 15.

“If you are missing a set of keys, you are asked to contact St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700.”

“You will be required to provide proper identification and proof of ownership.”
