St. Albert RCMP investigating arson after pathway fire

The St. Albert RCMP are looking for one suspect after a brush fire was started on a pathway across from Bellerose Composite High School.

On Tuesday, May 16, just before 1 p.m. a fire started on the pathway and St. Albert Fire Services were called before it could spread to neighbouring houses. 

Residents in the area reported there was a male seen running north toward Giroux Road away from where the fire was lit. 

The person is described as a teen male, standing approximately six feet tall, with brown shoulder-length hair and wearing dark clothing. 

St. Albert RCMP continue to investigate but have not identified who may be responsible for this arson.
