St. Albert RCMP asking for public help after break and enter, theft of credit cards

St. Albert RCMP are looking to identify a person connected to stolen credit cards from a St. Albert home.

Police say an unknown person, or possibly more than one person, entered a Jensen Lakes home through an unlocked door at around 2:45 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20. A purse and a set of vehicle keys were stolen from the home's kitchen.

The unknown suspect(s) then stole a 2013 Chevrolet Town and Country minivan from in front of the residence with the licence number BHR 0071.

Credit cards from the stolen purse were used at several Edmonton locations to make fraudulent purchases before 7 a.m. Friday.

The woman seen using the stolen cards is described as:

  • early to mid 20s in age
  • fair complexion
  • dark, shoulder-length hair
  • wearing a black or dark coloured zip-up hoodie, white T-shirt, dark leggings and white shoes
