The St. Albert RCMP detachment is asking residents to avoid the Woodlands neighbourhood, specifically Whitehall Crescent, as there is currently an ongoing “police incident” at a home.
“Although the incident is contained to a residence and there is no threat to the public, RCMP are asking that the public avoid the area and follow directions of responding officers,” RCMP wrote in a media release just after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
“Please refrain from positing photos of responding officers until after the incident is over.”
