Province reports 97 new cases of COVID-19, two more deaths

On Saturday, the province stated 2,534 people have now recovered.

The province has identified 97 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of people infected so far to 5,670. Two more Albertans have died, bringing the death toll to date to 94.

On Saturday, the province stated 2,534 people have now recovered from the virus.

Most of the province's cases continue to be in the Calgary zone (3,775 cases) and the south zone (1,054 cases). The Edmonton zone has had 501 cases.

There are 88 people currently in hospital and 19 of them are in intensive care.
