St. Albert RCMP have charged four people after seizing fentanyl, marijuana and cocaine from a city home.
Police found approximately one ounce of cocaine, 50 grams of psilocybin, two vials of hash oil, approximately three grams of hash, approximately 100 individual packages of marijuana commonly referred to as “shatter”, four pounds of marijuana, 11 grams of MDMA, 10 Fentanyl tablets and approximately $800 in cash.
A child, found in the home during the drug bust, was transferred to the care of Children and Family Services to ensure the child’s safety.
The four adults, who face several drug related offences, will go to court next year.
Police have not released the names of the accused or the date the search warrant was executed to protect the privacy of the child and other ongoing investigations.
The St. Albert Drug Unit worked along with the St. Albert General Duty, St. Albert Crime Reduction Unit, St. Albert Community Policing & Crime Prevention Unit, RCMP Police Dog Services and Ft. Saskatchewan RCMP General Investigation Section to execute the search.
