The St. Albert RCMP is asking the public to help identify two males involved in a gas theft last week.

Police say two males drove a dark-coloured Ford SUV pulled up to the gas pumps at the Petro Canada station at 174 St. Albert Trail between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on April 17. The driver filled up, and left without paying for the fuel.

Police want to identify the two males.

Anyone with information about this or any other crime is asked to phone St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700, or if they want to remain anonymous, phone Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police say they want to return a Maytag freezer they found last October to its rightful owner.

They found the freezer on Oct. 13 near the intersection of Villeneuve Road and Ray Gibbon Drive, still in its original box and undamaged.

Anyone who can provide a purchase receipt can claim the freezer at the St. Albert RCMP detachment at the corner of Boudreau Road and Bellerose Drive.
