St. Albert RCMP is seeking public assistance in connection with a smash and grab at Cranky's bike shop.

At approximately 5:10 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, two unknown individuals smashed the front door entrance of Cranky's bike shop located at 24 Perron St. and left the premise with two bicycles.

The two males are described as being Caucasian.

One man is between 20 and 30 years old, of average build, with short dark hair and wearing a baseball cap. The other man is older, between 30 to 40 years old, with short dark hair and a receding hairline.

Morinville RCMP are investigating a number of thefts in the Town of Legal after responding to complaints between April 3 and 5.

One of the calls was about a stolen Honda Element sport utility. Police also received another call regarding items stolen from a number of vehicles. There are no suspects at the time.

The RCMP is reminding residents to remove valuable items from their vehicles or place them out of view.
