St. Albert RCMP says that a missing 14-year-old teen has been found safe.

Elise Cathlyn Sinclair, reported missing on July 30, was reported found Aug. 5.

A missing St. Albert man has been located, and charged with a number of offences.

William Ryan Nadeau was reported missing on June 23, along with a truck, money and firearms. His location was confirmed on Aug. 3. He has been charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of theft over $5,000. His next court appearance is Aug. 8 in St. Albert.

A 26-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault and intimidation after allegedly following a teen girl on the city’s main walking path.

Around 3:20 p.m. on July 12, a 17-year-old teen was walking on the Red Willow Trail system. She reported that a man began following her and when she crossed under Boudreau Road the man pushed her up against the bridge supports and allegedly touched her breasts. The girl pushed the man away and ran to the spray park.

The man was arrested immediately and was charged with sexual assault, assault and intimidation. He pleaded not guilty on July 18. He has been denied bail and will appear in court Nov. 21.

RCMP is asking for public help to identify a man who stole four Dyson brand vacuums from a store in July.

On July 22 around 7 p.m., an unidentified man entered the St. Albert Canadian Tire store and loaded a shopping cart with four Dyson vacuums. He made his way out of the store without paying.

He is described as a Caucasian man in his late thirties, approximately five feet six inches with short blond hair, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, white runners and an Apple watch. He also has a full sleeve of tattoos on his left arm.

Over the August long weekend, RCMP responded to three break and enters into sheds around the city.

St. Albert Soccer Association reported its sheds on Riel Drive had been broken into between the late hours of July 28 and early hours of July 29.

On July 30, the manager of a condo complex located on Gainsborough Avenue reported that the complex storage shed had been broken into. Nothing was taken. That same day, staff from the Wildrose Elementary School on Grenfell Avenue reported that their storage shed had also been broken into.

A location in the Riel Business Park was broken into twice over the August long weekend.

Around 3:30 a.m. on July 29, RCMP responded to a break and enter at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Rowland Crescent. Several windows had been broken but nothing was reported missing. Two days later RCMP officers were called back and discovered the door to the location had been pried open in a failed attempt to steal the ATM.

This has been the second time since July 26 that ATMs have been targeted. RCMP recommend ATMs be emptied several times a day and secured.
