The Morinville RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who stole lottery tickets from a gas station. On Sunday, March 6, at around 9:30 p.m. a man went into the Shell gas station at 106 Street and 100 Avenue.

The Morinville RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who stole lottery tickets from a gas station.

On Sunday, March 6, at around 9:30 p.m. a man went into the Shell gas station at 106 Street and 100 Avenue. He walked around the store, put sunglasses on his head, then walked up to the till and grabbed a tray of lottery tickets.

He then ran down the street on foot before getting into a motor vehicle and leaving the area.

The man is described as Caucasian, about five-foot-six, approximately 150 lbs., with a blue baseball cap worn backwards.

Morinville police are looking for a man who they say broke into a local laundromat and stole money.

At around 5 a.m. on Feb. 6, the lone male went into the business at 106 Street and 100 Avenue, broke into the change machine and emptied it.

He’s described as Caucasian, about 55 years old, about 170 lbs., with glasses and a moustache.

Police say he appeared to be driving a newer-model Hyundai Accent car.
