St. Albert police are looking for information about two recent vehicle thefts in St. Albert.

On Feb. 7, some time between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m., a silver 2010 Ford F-150 truck was stolen from the Akinsdale Gardens neighbourhood, and has not been recovered.

That same day, Edmonton police recovered a vehicle that had been stolen two days prior in St. Albert. On Feb. 5, somebody stole a 2015 Mazda CX5 from the Esso station at Carnegie Drive and Corriveau Avenue in the Campbell Business Park.

The vehicle was recovered with a flat tire near 119 St. and 162 Ave. in Edmonton.

Several vehicles in St. Albert had windows smashed over the weekend, Feb. 5 to Feb. 7.

Overnight between Friday and Saturday, someone threw a piece of cement onto a windshield of a car parked on Grosvenor Boulevard. On that same night, another vehicle on that road had its windshield smashed by an unknown object.

Then between Saturday night and Sunday morning, a van on Heritage Drive had its rear window smashed.

Police have released photos of suspected thieves who they say stole about $1,000 worth of merchandise from Marks Work Warehouse.

On Jan. 4, 2016, a man and woman went into the store and loitered around. The man then ran out the back of the store, knocking down a female employee in the process. The female suspect also fled.

The man is described as 25-30 years old, about five-foot-six to five-foot-eight in height, with a longer beard. He was wearing red Beats headphones and is described as “grubby looking.”

The woman is 20-25, and shorter than the male. She appeared to be of First Nations of Metis descent, with dark hair worn in a ponytail.

Anyone with information about these or any other crimes is asked to contact St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700 or phone Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
