Two PlayStations were stolen from a local Shoppers Drug Mart.
Shortly before noon on Jan. 11 a PS4 Pro console worth $499.99 and an Uncharted 4 PS4 Bundle valued at $379.99 were taken from the store on 140 St. Albert Trail.
The man was caught on video making no attempt to pay for the items and leaving the store. The man is described as a Caucasian male standing at approximately six feet tall with an average build, short dark hair. He was wearing a light grey hoodie. He was seen leaving the parking lot in a black Toyota car.
The St. Albert RCMP is investigating the theft of $10,500 worth of tools.
The gear was taken on Jan. 10 between 11 p.m. and 6:40 a.m. the next day. The tools were taken from a cargo trailer that was parked on Gainsborough Avenue, about 50 feet east of the Sir Winston Churchill Avenue intersection.
The missing tools include various DeWalt hand and power tools, such as cordless drills, batteries, a circular saw, and jigsaw. The stolen goods also include various Klein tools and a Fluke 87-5 electrical meter.
A blue Chevrolet Cavalier linked to an armed robbery with a firearm was found in Gibbons.
On Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. the car was found abandoned in a rural area west of Morinville. The car was confirmed to be the one involved in the Jan. 13 armed robbery in Gibbons.
Police would like to thank the public for locating the vehicle. Police are continuing with the investigation.
