Several unidentified protesters waved signs along St. Albert Trail on Saturday afternoon.
"This absolutely amazes me. This is not the St. Albert that I know and love," said Mayor Cathy Heron on her official Facebook page.
The protests expressed anti-immigration sentiments, with one sign saying "Deport them all" and the other "White Lives Matter."
