The St. Albert Further Education Newcomer Men’s Club educational meetings resume Saturday, March 4 at St. Albert Centre Mall.

The free sessions are held every six weeks and cover topics related to easing the settlement process in Canada. Past sessions have covered banking, insurance, policing, CRA taxes, finance, and parenting in two cultures.

The next event is an in-person session that deals with personal directives, wills, power of attorney and health directives. Women are also welcome at this meeting.

Cheryl Dumont, executive director of St. Albert Further Education, encourages everyone to pass this information on to newcomers, neighbours and friends who have just moved to the community.

The session starts at 1 p.m. at the Further Education offices next to Hudson’s Bay. Refreshments will be served and prizes distributed.
