I am an 11-month-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix and I am doing my best to come to terms with what is happening in my life right now. I was living in some pretty dire conditions before I was purchased by a lady just to get me out of there and then surrendered to NASAP. I was very dirty and my coat was matted and I had fleas. I have now been to the spa and am squeaky clean with a clipped coat and not a flea in sight. I have just been neutered and I am slowly learning what it is liked to be loved and cared for. I am friendly and not really scared of people but I am a little bit shy. I'm sure I will gain in confidence quickly once I see more of the big wide world and meet more people. I would like a new home with kind, patient people who will understand that I might make a few mistakes before I get everything right. I would like a home where somebody is home most of the time. I get along great with other dogs and I'm OK with cats too. So if you have the time and the willingness to work with me and teach me all the things I have not had a chance to learn until now, please call NASAP and come meet me. I am longing to feel that I belong to someone and that somebody thinks I'm special. Call 780-922-0250 or visit www.nasap.ca and click underneath my photo and apply online.
My name is Pansy and I'm a curious and playful young, spayed female cat who is looking for love. I'm approximately one-and-a-half years old with short hair and striking torbi with white markings. Although I'm missing half of my tail, it does not affect me at all. I am very affectionate and I love people. I am gentle and would make an excellent family pet. I still have some kitten qualities; for example, I can go from calm and sleepy one moment to playful and flamboyant the next. My ideal home is one with no other pets but one with plenty of love and attention. I hope my sweet and goofy personality will win you over and I'll have the great, forever indoor-only home that I deserve! Pansy's NASAP adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, de-worming, microchip, tattoo, FIV/Feline leukemia testing and a post-adoption health check-up.
