Shanty is a lively little girl who was found abandoned in the country. She is mixed breed and about four months old. She weighs around 19 pounds. This sweet young dog has lovely grey/green eyes. We feel she may have some hound, shepherd and/or lab mix in her. As Shanty grows she is starting to exhibit some hound-like traits such as scenting and is starting to develop those jowls under her chin along with a houndish swagger! She walks well on a lead and can keep herself amused for the most part with toys and such but still likes to be in the middle of all the activity. Shanty would make a good running partner. She has lots of stamina! Her ideal home would be an acreage or home with a large yard and where she can be a big part of the family. Since she has been in foster care Shanty has been indoors at night and we feel that with her coat she would not do well being an outside-only dog. Another playful dog would be a great asset for Shanty as she likes to be active and could use the teachings of another dog to learn the rules. Shanty is a very clever girl who has the makings of a great and loyal dog for an active family.

My name is Jazz and I'm an affectionate, cuddly and super playful kitty. I'm a neutered male with short black fur. I'm approximately two years old, very handsome and I love to give hugs when I'm snuggling. If there is a lap that is free, I'll be lounging on it for sure. I would be best for a forever home without other animals as I do not care for cats or dogs ... I prefer to have all of your attention to myself. I'm excited because I know my forever home is coming very soon! Jazz' NASAP adoption fee includes his neuter, deworming, vaccinations, microchip, FIV/Feline leukemia testing and a post adoption health check-up. Please inquire about adopting Jazz!
