The Morinville RCMP is on the scene of a serious collision involving two vehicles on Highway 28, in the area of Highway 642, approximately 20 minutes from St. Albert.
Highway 28 will be closed will be closed in both directions while emergency personnel respond and the scene is investigated, police said in a news release. Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
RCMP said an udate is anticipated once the highway is reopened and more details become available.
