The RCMP was called in the early morning hours on Friday last week after a man was seen in the fence compounds of several business in the Riel Business Park.
On March 10, 2023, at approximately 12:20 a.m. St. Albert RCMP members, along with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services, were able to track down the man inside a fenced compound on Riel Drive and arrested him without incident. The man was found several stolen items from one of the businesses on Riel Drive, along with a pry bar and pliers.
Brent Miller (32), a resident of Edmonton, was charged with break and enter and possession of a break-in instrument.
Miller was also wanted for three outstanding warrants for Failing to Appear in Court on unrelated matters.
Miller was held for bail hearing and released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in the St. Albert Provincial Court on March 27.
