LETTER: Intersection with fatality needs green arrow for turns

For years, turning left onto St. Albert Trail from Campbell Road at this intersection has been incredibly daunting and dangerous.
LETTERS

My family were driving towards Campbell Road and St Albert Trail on Tuesday, April 11th. As we approached, and saw all of the police presence and the entire area blocked off, we knew a terrible accident must have occurred. When we read in the Gazette that a 65 year old woman was killed there, we were all very saddened and upset. For years, turning left onto St. Albert Trail from Campbell Road at this intersection has been incredibly daunting and dangerous. We have a teen who is about to start driving, and intersections like this one are very frightening. At busy times of day in this spot, and at almost all major intersections in our city, there are green left-turning arrows. Clearly this is required at this intersection at all times, not just busy times. Please! How many people have to be injured or killed before this is rectified?
