Heron continues to lead in St. Albert after seven polls report

Seven polling stations represent 58.3 per cent of the vote out of a total of 12 polling stations.

Incumbent Mayor Cathy Heron is leading the mayoral race in St. Albert after seven polling stations have reported. 

Angela Wood was previously in the lead, but is now in second place with 4,159 votes, while Heron has 4,465 votes. 

Bob Russell has 1,182 votes and David Letourneau has 1,571 votes. 

As for council candidates, incumbent Sheena Hughes, incumbent Ken Mackay, newcomer Mike Killick, incumbent Wes Brodhead, newcomer Shelly Biermanski, and incumbent Natalie Joly are currently leading the pack for council seats.
