     4. SCARS Gimme Shelter fundraiser

The Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) is hosting its annual Gimme Shelter fundraiser at the Canadian Brewhouse in Jensen Lakes on Saturday night.

There will also be a 50/50 and a raffle. Children under the age of 10 are free and are allowed to stay at the event until 9:00 p.m.

SCARS also takes individual and company volunteers who are interested in helping build insulated shelters, and more information about getting involved can be found on the organization's website.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
