Williams has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, including Just for Laughs, CBC Radio's The Debaters, comedy festivals across Canada, and more.

“Williams is one of Canada’s most exciting comics,” Endeavour's website says. “You do not want to miss his charisma, energy or sharp material.”

     3. Neutral Ground hobby and activity day

Neutral Ground, a non-profit aiming to reduce social isolation in the community, is hosting another hobby and activity event on Saturday afternoon at St. Albert Centre.

The event is free and registration isn't required. Some activities and hobbies to take part in include boardgames, knitting and crocheting, arts and crafts, LEGO, and more.

“Snacks will be available and all ages and groups are welcome,” reads the event description on the City of St. Albert website.

The event is specifically taking place at the St. Albert Newcomers Group, which is near the entrance to The Bay, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m..

     4. SCARS Gimme Shelter fundraiser

The Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) is hosting its annual Gimme Shelter fundraiser at the Canadian Brewhouse in Jensen Lakes on Saturday night.

Tickets are $10, and come with a drink ticket valid for select drinks and a door prize entry.

There will also be a 50/50 and a raffle. Children under the age of 10 are free and are allowed to stay at the event until 9:00 p.m.

The fundraiser is specifically raising money for SCARS' Walls for Winter program, which helps provide insulated pet shelters for rural Albertans who other can't provide animals with warm winter shelter.

SCARS also takes individual and company volunteers who are interested in helping build insulated shelters, and more information about getting involved can be found on the organization's website.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
