Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for St. Albert, with “near zero” visibility conditions expected this evening and overnight.
“Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations,” reads the advisory, which was issued this afternoon. “If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”
“The fog is expected to lift through the day Thursday.”
The advisory also says that freezing rain could fall in parts of the region, including St. Albert, Edmonton, or Sherwood Park.
