A feature that ran in the Gazette on page 19 on Aug. 17 on particulate matter featured a graphic from the U.S. EPA’s website that incorrectly used the symbol for millimetres (mm) instead of the one for microns (µm) when describing the width of hair and sand. These objects are microns and not millimetres wide.
