Residents of Amber Crescent, near Hebert Road and Atkins Drive, are being asked to stay in their homes and away from their windows.
The St. Albert RCMP is currently on the scene investigating a firearms complaint and residents can expect a heavy police presence.
The RCMP asks the public to refrain from posting photos of responding officers on social media until the incident is over.
