Angela Wood in lead in St. Albert after four polling stations report

Wood currently has 3,251 votes with incumbent mayor Cathy Heron trailing closely behind with 3,221 votes.

Newcomer St. Albert mayoral candidate Angela Wood is in the lead after four out of 12 polling stations have reported results. 

Wood currently has 3,251 votes, with incumbent mayor Cathy Heron trailing closely behind with 3,221 votes. Bob Russell is pulling in 908 votes and David Letourneau is sitting at 1,108 votes. 

As for council candidates, incumbent Sheena Hughes, incumbent Ken Mackay, newcomer Mike Killick, incumbent Wes Brodhead, newcomer Shelly Biermanski, and incumbent Natalie Joly are currently leading the pack for council seats. 

Four polling stations represents 33.3 per cent of the votes in the city. The city will continue to report results as they come in.
