Angela Wood in lead after one polling station reports

Wood currently has 2,132 votes with incumbent mayor Cathy Heron trailing closely behind with 1,852 votes.

Newcomer mayoral candidate Angela Wood is in the lead after one out of eight polling stations are reporting. 

Wood currently has 2,132 votes with incumbent mayor Cathy Heron trailing closely behind with 1,852 votes. Bob Russell is pulling in 581 votes and David Letourneau is sitting at 599 votes. 

As for council candidates, incumbent Sheena Hughes, incumbent Ken Mackay, newcomer Mike Killick, incumbent Wes Brodhead, newcomer Shelly Biermanski, and incumbent Natalie Joly are currently leading the pack for council seats. 

One polling station represents 8.3 per cent of the votes in the city. The city will continue to report results as they come in.
