All incumbent councillors re-elected to St. Albert city council

MacKay, who has served one term on council, scored the most votes of all council candidates, at 7,791.

Wes Brodhead, Sheena Hughes, Natalie Joly, and Ken MacKay all won their seats back in tonight's municipal election in St. Albert. 

The four councillors will serve alongside Mike Killick, who ran for the first time this term, and Shelley Biermanski, who has run for mayor twice in the past. 

Incumbent Mayor Cathy Heron was re-elected to her seat. 

MacKay, who has served one term on council, scored the most votes at 7,791.

Hughes came in second place, with 7,788 votes. This will be Hughes's third term on council.

Veteran council member Brodhead, who has served on St. Albert city council since 2010, came in third place with 7,229 votes. 

Natalie Joly, who just earned her second term on council, came in fourth place with 7,067 votes. 

Killick, a retired project management professional, came in fifth place with 6,362 votes, while Biermanski, an experienced business owner, earned 6,260 votes.

8. Ross Guffei — 4,942 votes

9. Jennifer Cote — 4,825 votes

10. Leonard Wilkins — 4,310 votes

11. Rachel Jones — 4,098 votes

12. Kevan Donald Jess — 4,095 votes

13. Donna Kawahara — 4,067 votes

14. Gilbert Cantin — 3,209 votes

15. Shawn Michel LeMay — 2,691 votes

16. Louis Sobolewski — 2,616 votes

17. Wally Popik — 2,385 votes

18. Isadore Peter Stoyko — 1,365 votes

19. Mike Ferguson — 1,264 votes

20. Joseph Trapani — 887 votes
