On Saturday, Alberta reported an increase of 216 people confirmed to have COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases that have so far been confirmed in the province to 4,233.
So far, 1,471 people have recovered.
One more Albertan has died. In total, 73 people have died, 48 of whom were residents at continuing care facilities.
Seventy-seven people are currently hospitalized, with 20 of them in intensive care.
In St. Albert, 29 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Twenty-four of them have recovered, while five cases remain active. Sturgeon County has so far had 11 cases of people contracting the virus, with 10 having recovered.
