The Jim Witter concert scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Arden Theatre has been cancelled due to unforeseen medical issues.
Ian Tanner, Witter’s bass player, posted a note on the Facebook page The Piano Men Starring Jim Witter stating, “Jim had a mild heart attack yesterday/last night. His chest pains were bad enough early this morning that he and his family decided it would be wise to get to the hospital right away. He is in good hands at the cardiac centre and is feeling fine.”
The post continues with, “Thanks for any well wishes, good vibes or prayers you wish to offer to Jim and his family.”
The Arden is hoping to reschedule in the near future and is offering full refunds. They will be available to patrons until Friday, Feb. 17 if tickets were purchased in person or over the phone via the box office.
If tickets were purchased through Ticketmaster online, the agency will provide an automatic refund.
