Seafood enthusiasts take note. Patio season is here and the Celtic Knot returns with its popular Lobster Fest on July 7.
Yes, these delicate and delicious crustaceans will be the evening’s main attraction. Each guest will be served one two-pound lobster with all the trimmings.
In addition, the Celtic Knot is offering prize give-aways and bringing in live entertainment.

Chef Julia Kundera, formerly of Glasshouse Bistro, is now employed at Holts Café in Holt Renfrew.
Taking her place at Glasshouse is Executive Chef Enrique Toledo, previously from River Cree Casino. Originally from Guatemala, Toledo originally trained at the posh French Laundry.
In 2004, Restaurant Magazine ranked the California restaurant number one globally.
A new menu reflecting Toledo’s background is in the works, so stop by the Glasshouse Bistro located at the Enjoy Centre for a browse or two.
There is never any doubt. The biggest food adventure of the capital region is Taste of Edmonton on from July 21 to 30.
And this year the lineup of food, workshops, culinary adventures and entertainment just keeps expanding.
Festival goers can expect a few changes this year including 79 new menu items, 16 new restaurants and food trucks, seven workshops, eight culinary adventures and ten sip ’n’ savour pop-ups.
Also brand new this year is Taste 4 Kids with a variety of kid-friendly activities and events.
It is free to attend the food fest, however there is a charge to purchase food. Taste Tickets are discounted 20 per cent at tasteofedmonton.ca. The discount applies until Wednesday, July 20.
