With our traditional brutal winter behind us (at least according to the calendar), we welcome spring with open arms. And that means food festivals and long table dinners.

Here in St. Albert, the 3^rd annual Dig In Horticulinary Festival taking place May 1 to 6 is sure to quell your cravings for fresh flavourings.

Celebrity chef Mary Berg of Gusto TV, a multi-course dinner, a culinary bicycle tour and hands-on workshops are all part of this exciting week.

BeerFest

Edmonton’s 12^th International BeerFest heats up at the Shaw Conference Centre on April 13 an 14. It’s a weekend packed with 500 beers available for tasting, and a new lineup of entertainment to keep up the spirits. Tickets are $19.

This year BeerFest is teaming up with Cannabiscon for a Buds & Suds joint pass that entitles the holder to both events on Saturday, April 14 for just $30.
