WindRose Trio, a threesome of light classical musicians, was originally scheduled to perform as part of St. Albert Botanic Park’s Garden Day festivities. Unfortunately, because of expanded construction at the site, the botanic park has cancelled Garden Days.
The concert will continue as planned on Sunday, July 27. However, it will now take place at the St. Albert Grain Elevator Park, 4 Meadowview Drive.
Musicians Beth Levia (oboe), Matthew Howatt (bassoon), and Robert Spady (clarinet) will perform an eclectic selection of light classics. Minimal seating is available, and everyone is encouraged to bring their own lawn chair, blankets, sunscreen and snacks.
Attendees are encouraged to also make it an afternoon event, checking out the grounds of St. Albert Grain Elevator Park and the Historic River Lots .
The one-hour free concert starts at 1:30 p.m.
