The September Art Walk – the last of the Art Walk season – takes place tomorrow evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at various locations throughout the Perron District. These include the Art Gallery of St. Albert, the Visual Arts Studio Association (VASA), the St. Albert Public Library, the MusĂ©e HĂ©ritage Museum, the WARES Store in St. Albert Place, the Bookstore on Perron, and A Boutique Gallery Bar By Gracie Jane, along with a special one-time-only venue at Jack's Burger Shack.
This event also includes outdoor artists Grant and Ben Kurtz, Judy Schafers, Janet Sutanto, Marian Dubrule, Clinically Impressed, Dave Regimbald, Megan Pederson, Carolyn Chmilar, Sarah Kirby, Dallas LaRose, Kara Straub, Andra Gavrila, Rebecca Zai, Hannah LaCrampe, Sandra Soucy, Kim Van Ruskenveld, Tara Hardern, Peter Gegolick, Chris and Mark Eberle, and Kateryna Young, along with other sights and activities. Rock band Thursdays will provide music in the plaza of St. Albert Place for the evening.

Reconstructions is an exhibit featuring multimedia pottery and ceramic artworks by Redwater artist Brenda Danbrook. Opening reception to be held tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the September Art Walk. The artist will be in attendance. On display until Saturday, Oct. 29.

St. Albert Painters' Guild members Peg McPherson, MaryLou Olson and Betty Tessier each have selected artworks of places that they have found intriguing, challenging and with a high degree of aesthetic appeal, and that have connected with them on a personal and compositional level. Kim Cohen from the Floral Arts Society will be showing an arrangement built from common containers found at home and using elements from her own shrubs and gardens. “We want to show people what they can do themselves from their own yard and promoting our ability to instruct them in designing,” she stated.
This will be on display in the foyer of St. Albert Place while the WARES store will also be open for the Art Walk event.

Teresa Graham is bringing Nature's Bouquets to the gallery for the months of August and September. It will feature a rotating series of paintings. Scotia Place is located at 10060 Jasper Ave. in Edmonton.
Graham will also be participating in a group show along with several other members of the Society of Western Canadian Artists in a new show and in a new venue in downtown Edmonton.
