The library has two new exhibits, the first of which is by the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG). The other is a TREX, the acronym for a traveling exhibit called Imprints, which comes courtesy of the Art Gallery of Alberta.

Connections features the combined efforts of 12 people representing each of the Society of Northern Alberta Print Artists and PrintMatters from Houston, Texas. These artists include Daniel Evans, Sean Caulfield, Karen Cassidy, April Dean, Sara Norquay, Megan Stein and Tracy Wormsbecker, among others.

Return To Sender is the SNAP Members Print Exchange featuring 28 artists including Alexandrea Bowes, Annique Comeau, Madison Dewar, Colleen Hewitt, Alex Linfield, Morgan Melenka and Marie Winters, among others.

Both shows run until Aug. 20.

Karen Blanchet is participating in the new online exhibit called Limitless, which can be found at www.artists.ca until Aug. 31.

Teresa Graham is bringing Nature’s Bouquets to the gallery for the months of August and September. It will feature a rotating series of paintings. Scotia Place is located at 10060 Jasper Ave. in Edmonton.

Graham will also be participating in a group show along with several other members of the Society of Western Canadian Artists in a new show and in a new venue in downtown Edmonton. The exhibit also features Shirley Kinneberg, Cathy Bible, Arlene Bowles, Heidi Smith, Diana Templeton, Leanne Schnierer, Greg Milne, Sue Scott and Ruth Harris. On display until Sept. 2.

Path Makers is a traveling exhibit from the Art Gallery of Alberta’s TREX program. It is a tribute to three Alberta First Nations artists – Dale Auger, Joane Cardinal-Schubert and Kimowan Metchewais – who each have significantly contributed to our national history. On display until August 24.
